This could be better....

I love the Giants. This, my friends, is no secret. I screamed horrible things at Tynes when he missed those two field goals, all the while telling Eli that he was doing a great job, no matter what. And really, I'm a Brett Farve fan, as long as he isn't playing the Giants.

But really, wouldn't this whole thing be better if anyone would give us a little credit? We didn't win the Dallas game, they lost. We didn't win today against Green Bay, they collapsed. Do 10 straight road games, and the calm, cool, collected play of a fourth year QB who's never won a playoff game mean nothing? Seriously Fox Sports, Sports Center and NFL on CBS. Show a little respect.

i just found your blog earlier and have not spent time reading through to see if you already have written the answer, it is obvious you are a giants fan, so the question is where is the best place in Santiago to watch the superbowl? I moved to Chile six weeks ago and have either listening on internet or seeing the Sunday night game in spanish. There has to be a better way to watch the superbowl. Your tips will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brendan

I'm a serious Giants fan, and the current in New York right now is pretty unbelievable.

As for Santiago, I only suggest what I am about to suggest for the Super Bowl because frankly, you need to be in a place where people actually understand and care about what's going on: Publicity on El Bosque. I've watched many a football game there, and it's a good time. The Geo Pub (down the street by the Tobalaba station) is ok as well, except that they lie about serving Guinness.

Of course, you won't get the commercials which takes a bit away from the experience.

Hope that helps!
